I quite like 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 13 overall, head and chest pieces both. I also like 9's high neck piece and 11's shoulder piece though probably without the 4 horns on the pauldrons -

I learned a lot about lighting. Thats not exactly what makes me struggle. It´s the decission, if it´s necessary to build a whole scene to present my characters or is there a good and practical way to do this, whitout spending so much time and to a environment for the character? -

The whole receiver/grip looks skewed and deformed, where it as should be more even. stock isnt too right either, the eotech is too big either. take a look around google and the site i´ve posted, there´s PLENTY of ref and dozens of m4´s already build. -

I never even thought to add some pure whites or blacks to get punch up the spec contrasts, I always thought 0's and 255's were a no no. I'll definately have to give it a try with the next vegetation I make, thanks a bunch Spangles! :D -

certain areas on the mask2 map looks a bit dark, if you want your item to have more spec, you should make mask2's red channel whiter. I think that your current mask2's red channel is a bit too dark/too black. -

It is looking good but one thing that I want to point out is the part of the leg where it goes into the shoes. If you look at the ocarina of time reference you will see that it´s very tight and if you look at your twilight princess reference you can still see that it´s not that baggy. -

Where to begin? It's nice that you're doing fan-art, it helps to keep motivation during portfolio hell.
