it has version control? so you can upload loads of gigs of psds and share them quickly with your team? Is it free? cant see anything about membership payments or anything.

Liquify already supports this (at least in CS4 which is what I am using). In the liquify panel, hit "save mesh". Then, on your next layer do filter->liquify->load mesh
This, and uncharted 2 make me want a ps3. I know a few of my friends are waiting for a price drop before they pick one up, I guess I'm in the same boat.
if I remember correctly dds files are just compressed targas, don't think they support layers. I usually just use PSDs till its time to put stuff in the engine.
