Hey, newegg has an awsome deal on a sceptre 24", for 199.99 after rebate. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824112011 And no, I don't work for Newegg, but I have 2 of these and love them. Only problem is when I bought them they cost around $400.00 each!
1943 is PC also. I've played a bit of Heroes, and trust me, it's way different from the traditional battlfield feel. Plus, it's free to play and item-sales based, whereas 1943 is a more traditional game. Bad Company is the one that seems like the odd one out to me.
I reckon you could probably take out a fair few polys from his back ans his head, considering the helmet and cape. Maybe you already have, hard to tell. That is unless you plan for him to take those items off at some point.
Grats guys, been playing this a bit. I'm guessing design meetings to come up with names for items involved a lot of alcohol and franticly trying to scribble things down before the next fit of laughter hit. My name is Molgren (rearranged 'mongrel' hehe). Usually on world 2.
Here's an example btw... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115011 For $970 you can get a quad core that is just slightly slower than the 6800, but you save $300. I'd rather have my $300 than a sliver of speed that I'd probably never notice.
Polygon Counter is gone in Max9 as far as I can tell. The best way to get poly stats is to enable them in the viewport. Right-click your viewport name in the upper-left and go to Configure/Statistics. Set the items you want and click on "Show Statistics in Active View."
Thanks Pior! Finally an update for this guy, before I put this set on hold for some Chinese themed items! The Lowpoly for the spirit bear is done, the druid and trueform also have some work put into them. Here's some marmoset grabs of the spirit bear bake for now.
Yeah since it's a Z sculpt it might be easier to just do that. :) Great job on this stuff btw, I saw your flying boat on another thread and it was an item I'd thought of modeling not too long ago, it was nice seeing yours you did a pretty good job with it! :)
I think I understand what you're trying to do... Select the items you don't want to cast shadows, right click and choose object properties, then turn off "Cast Shadows"? If that doesn't work I didn't understand what you're trying to do =P
its a cluster fck. Most of your items have the same amount of distance between them, alot of things have similar siloets (sharp and pointy) and are sized similarly, I can see you dont have a grasp on color theory, and the composition is bad. It is unpleasant to look at.
