Turns out, I am stupid :D I didn't realise that there were settings for the cylindrical map. Turns out they help quite a bit :D UV map done, not just got to pack it: I can't see any major distortion either:
My 1st day in this crazy world of working on games for real and not in my bedroom ;D The wrap parties are mucho fun, but what tops them all is seeing my stuff on a shelf, on an advert on tv still makes me all warm inside ;D
Gah, Oniram.... any chance you can share how you did the knurled grip on the silencer? I am trying to do the same thing for a Mac-10 - and the results have been... shoddy to say the least. Looking good though :D :D
Zyzz is an interesting specimen, but I really think Gymnasts are much closer to the classical ideals and a more effective frame of reference for artistic anatomy. Gymnastic athleticism is the kind that you'd find in an mma fighter (at a tight weightclass), a greek athlete, or your d&d hero.
Thanks for the feedback guys :D Gearman, I do agree with you. It does not appear as interesting as the other skins. However, valve asked me to make less flashy, lower quality skins for the cases so this was my attempt at the request. Thanks! :D Cheers!
hello guys i just did some sculpts in Z Brush. :D i will post the texture soon! but right now i need some sleep LOL. I have been learning Z Brush and UDK by myself so yeah... :) :D
By writing the tools ourselves and telling them to do whatever we want :D I mean naming conventions can be kinda anything that reasonably makes sense, the important thing is that they are consistent. Letting tools deal with the names means its always consistent :D
I agree with the comments about how they start off dancing too fast, 'cause they just don't seem to go with the music, up until the beat comes in. Just my opinion, and I think these are fregging awesome :D Keep it up :D :D:D:D
