i've ben using a 1st gen 21ux cintiq for a few years,, i love it, once you go cintiq its really hard to have to go back to using a regular tablet. if i was hired at a place that did not offer cintiqs, i would pony up my own money to get me one, or take my personal one to the office to use. -

when i was in school not too long ago i would spend all my time i wasnt doing gen ed stuff on 3d stuff typically, but then alot of things changed. And then i found doing a few hours like maybe 10-12 a week then now im out of school i spend like 12+ a day working on portfolio stuff. -

Yea, but it truely is a shame. Quality shadows would have really put Marmoset "over the top". I like it a lot, but my only complaint is, while it's quite good technically, it seems to lack character, this would be good for an "after next gen" rts unit. I feel bad, because I don't know what is making it look so anonymous, maybe it's because you can barely see its eyes, as eyes give things a great deal of character. -
