I like it. Alot. It's nice to see your progress. The two giant identical statues reminds me a bit more of Lord of the Rings than Skyrim for some reason. Looks great though
Haha, I loved the ending.. "Dont play games, ring some friends, go out and get smashed". Now THAT is brilliant. Tells you everything you need to know about the programme.
wait, but guys, why not like this? It leaves you the control of the rings so u can chamfer or do anything with it. the more u chamfer, more smooths it goes and u wont see the pinch.
Honestly, it was the best movie I've seen in years. I can watch crap like the Grudge, or The Ring, and it's all funny to me. War of the Worlds however, scared me. It was amazingly well done.
I don't mean to poke fun at people who aren't native english speakers, but this has a very zen poetic ring to it. Like a haiku. I think everyone has felt that with retopology :(
workflow wise maya is different than Silo if you want to do a an edge loop insertion you have to use the "insert edge loop tool" and use it in an edge and it will split the rings of this edge.
yea,i can see it now.looks cool.If you want to optimize, then maybe you can lose 1 ring of polys in the neck and weld some points in the area between eye and ear
Easy way is to pick shots from films or games. Going for futuristic style, look at Halo 2. Going for medieval style, look at hmm... lord of the rings? Those are good starting point.

This looks nice. Especially liked that control ring and absence of rig controls over the character. I always hated those control elements blocking the view, whyle also being sometimes harder than needed to select.
