The sculpt looks a bit doughy, for example the knurling looks way too soft, and the wood texture you're using isn't good it's too noisy and has little to no wood characteristics, you want something where the age rings of the wood shows.
Quack: it has a deep storyline on snap well it never pretended to offer anything else than 'more of the same - and exceedingly well'. I think the let down is ppl's expectations from id-soft, which generally rise as competition does.
Looks like edge softening/hardening issues to me. Make sure your high poly is completely smoothed, and your low poly has hard edges where you have UV seams, with every other edge being soft.
Wow, Lenoid! That cart is looking seriously nice. My only issue with it is how soft some of the edges are, and how it lacks material definition (spec map, et cetera, which I assume you are working on) Great job, though, seriously.
Thank you for the feedback! :) I tried to make a brick with a lot stronger color difference. I also tried to make the cracks a little lighter. I like this look a lot better. The brick seems a little soft in the corners however :D
There's some kind of mechanism that would allow the helmet to be detachable. But the idea is still in my head, and haven't implemented it yet. Also going to resize the helmet, and add something soft inside it, because hell, that kind of helmet doesn't look comfortable, haha.
Thanks TicoTaco :) Gannon - I'll work on those fuzzy blurs haha - I used a soft brush as a start for faking some deeper insets, but I will try to make them more convincing/less distracting now - thank you for the crit!
Hard to tell, I'll bet it's personal preference. My take is that the template looks like a combination of leaves and fish tail, all of which are clearly affected by gravity. They curve down and look soft. Yours is looking like a ribbon and quite rigid.
I have studied at the National Art School, COFA and various other local and independent Galleries and Studios, I have created an https://sketchclubs.com/ Online Directory for Life Drawing for Artists - I personally am a strong believer in private practice
My lips are soft, perked, and ready to go adam! Actually fack that, don't give this man a chance to get another v neck shirt, the amount of hair busting out of there is slowly killing children and animals around the world! I'M PROTESTING THIS!
