Did you block out the raised portions of the armor, like the raised edges that surround the shoulder pads, in Maya? Or is there a way to make them look like that by straight up sculpting from a flat surface?
looking great but you might wanna scuff up or add highlights on the parts where the plates of the armor meet. you need to pop those edges out, or otherwise the plates seem to meld together.
Finished an Anti-Mage Set Design Also Started a Lion Set, The idea is the right side is more refined/civilized using cloths and armors while the left side is more rugged with crystalline outcrops.
YES PLEASE! Vehicle, gun, or armor (please?) Specifically complex shapes and what not. You might want to invest in a better mic next time as well, I have trouble hearing the video sometimes.
some reason the picture reminds me of Metal Gear Solid edit: now i see a guy in dark armor/helmet facing left with his arm stretched out to the right holding a pistol.
Alright, if that's the case, WOW zscuplt it is........ I think I should make an armored fellow or lady. To be honest, I was getting worried that I wasn't going to the 3D phase. Hopefully this will turn out well.
Last nights stream results on Twitch , just getting into a groove. Started with a sculpt in Oculus Medium that I then took into #zbrush. Just a #doodle but I kinda think this might be cool with armor or cybernetic pieces.
Added some "scale" looking skin bits 'cause the limbs looked a bit plain. I consider adding some sort of armor/clothing but not sure yet if this guy needs it. Any suggestions are appreciated!
Hey! Thanks for your comment. I started visualizing him as a robotic army as saviors/Villon(Little Monster) for RTS .. The helmet has a Logo of Indian Army on it & it will be loaded with guns & armors in/on hands and body.
After a lot of retopo work here is my almost finished armor set. Thanks everyone who commented and helped me out i hope to have a really good looking character by the end of this!
