That's partly true. Layout, wall design and the camera angle were based off of a picture I found online. Parts, like the arch and the Altar are my own idea yes. And the window in the back.
Outstanding work. I love the shapes, colors and organization of your layout. The composition shot is fantastic. Could you show a breakdown of your tree? you've managed some nice deep shadows in there.
i remember my first. good start. did you use reference, because some of your shapes are odd. and the eyes look to be too far apart. the edge layout could be smoother.
very close. this seems a bit of a stretch though... there's a lot of changes, if the map layout were similar, then yes, I'd be very suspect, but a couple screenshots of similar themes and elements does not a theft make.
dkorch, excellent stuff . My 2 favorites are the Red jeep and the Grenade Launcher, and the Gaem looks great i wanna play this game soon !!!. Great layout, no props man, looks great.
A Roomscale setup is great to have, but its totally playable in a stationary layout like another caveman pointed out. I've got a dedicated VR room so i know i'm in the minority but y'know priorities :)
Hey this stuff is amazing and I really like the layout of the site. One quick question, for the flaking metal bits do you draw that by hand or do you use any sources from photos at all?
I haven't gotten a chance to use any version of Softimage past 7/7.5, so I'm not sure if any of the layouts or default values for these PPGs would have changed over the last few years.
Thanks hewitt96. Finally got a rough layout thrown together in UE4. I'm behind my time table at the moment, but I hoping to rectify that this week. Should me moving into modeling in Max right away.
