Aww I really wanted the sci fi bar scene to win :P oh well! Looking at you guys work really gave me a interesting idea, i'll see if I can get a block out done in a couple of hours :)
Great tech/art, as is to be expected. But at the same time, isn't it still taking place on Mars, aka the red planet? Where's the red? Its all so blue and silver, like any other generic sci-fi movie that takes place on earth :(
did a SUPER fast and simple ultimate trim sci-fi hall using 3 textures (1 dif, 1 packed, 1 nrm) as a restriction. Would like to do another one and get fancier with some more decals in a third UV.
Thanks! So do I, and I just wanted to post something here that wasn't either a fantasy or a sci-fi scene. I might see if I can learn cinematics in UE4 today, and put together a short video of a fly-through.
Well done. Pure sci-fi stuff. The only crit is lighting. It's a bit flatten. You have a great sun light here so I thing there is no need to use big artificial lights here. In that case it's going to have more contrast.
Holy cow. Your work is fantastic. I am so envious. The Jules Verne/HG Wells steampunk poster is something I would hang on my wall(and is sorta similar to a victorian sci-fi idea I've been bouncing around)
OMFG just texture this awesome thing! I'm no 3point guy, but I make sci fi guns for robits... and I usually spend about a week for a third person model. I also get a third the tris your using though, hehe.
The backpack/rocket looks cool, the helm looks too sci-fi-ish for my taste, his right shoulder feels empty and the way the hook part attached to the wrench feels forced design-wise, though I like the wrench as a base.
Didn't know there was an image limit. So here's a few more recent things. Sci-fi character design Post apocalyptic Santa design inspired by The Road And design process for a character design for CGHubs 2d character forge And a portrait illustration thing
is this coming right out of your head? If so, stop and find some reference. If not, post references please. The modeling is ok, but you have lots of work to do. Keep it up, as the silhouette of this thing has some cool potential for a sci-fi weapon.
