I like the stone texture for the outside of the church. Are you using ref for the archway? It has nice detail, but looks very art deco which doesn't really look like it belongs in an old church IMO. Looking forward to seeing more.
It has a very similar feel to Skyrim. The main thing that caught my eye right away was the sheath looks like stone not gold. Most of the materials are very subtle which I think is fine but the gold just comes off as unfinished.
Made a few changes, hopefully I finish it tomorrow as I need to get started on the last model before the 31st :open_mouth: I need to make the crystal look nice, add grass or moss on the stone/wood and anything else that is missing!
this will be ace, if you could incorporate a single directional relax that would be awsome for more natural stuff like river bancks cliffs stone walls etc where the vertical lines are often not that parrellel and forcing them to be would cause alot of stretching.

Hello everyone:) I decided the new year was as good as any time to de-lurk and post something! Here is the high poly of a fountain I am working on.. It still needs some stone-type noise, and some worn down kind of damage I think, but any comments or suggestions are appreciated:D
Is the top supposed to look like it's made of stone? I feel your material definition is really lacking. Also, why didn't you back any details from a high poly? You've also spent way too many polygons on the character.
Thanks your Skodone a lot for reply. Yes folds on chest inconclusive and unnecessary. I carried away by folds on this piece of cloth. What about bottom part of cape, i make folds from belts but apparently not enough. Polishing stones, that's right.:):)
