Does anyone know how to fix bevel in Maya so it gives more accurate results. Never ran into this problem in any other app. If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
anybody knows, if there is a way to display world space normal maps in maya viewports? the standard bump just has options for bump(greyscale) and tangent space. haven't found a solution for world/object space yet.
I'm learning Maya and have started texturemapping. I notice that in the UV texture editor I can't right-click and select UVs. Anyone else have this problem with the PLE, and how do they work around it?

I'm trying to bake a normal map in maya using the transfer map option, but when I try to adjust the size of the envelope it's not working :S I have checked the normal for both the Low and the High, and they are not inverted.

In Maya extrude the circular face in then insert an edge loop on the other side. Unfortunately there's no real way to do that by default in Maya that I know of.
Hi Polycount! Is it possible to Rotate the Cylindrical Mapping Circle in Maya? I want to UV Map this Bar but the Mapping Circle is mapping in a wrong angle.
