Nice, this is a great resource for indy or modders. I'm not sure if I would use it personally. Looking at it from a professional stand point it really would depend on how much a studio focuses on art production speed and cutting corners. I'm already worried about seeing portfolio's with stuff they haven't actually textured… -

Your models look good, I think for the motorcycle since you did a high poly and got normal maps for the low poly you could have modelled in more detail. The low poly is missing some pieces like the part where the wheel connects to the bike. As for unwrapping, what issues are you having? I work in Maya and recently learned… -

If it lags only when closing the editor window, know that was an issue for just about everyone and they sorted it out in the latest service packs. Win7 and max running on 2gb of ram? Its a wonder you even got max to launch at all. Win7 32bit requires 2gb of ram, 4 if you're using 64bit. Thats just to get the OS up and… -

That doesn't look right to me, it looks like you rendered a diffuse map with a normal map applied and lights and shadows ticked on?
