anoon: I've gone down to the map level, and there doesn't seem to be a "show map in viewport" option. however, i see that option at the top of my material (the blue box). gamedev: thanks, again. these are the exact steps that i followed in the first screen grab. i also updated my video drivers...same result. not sure...…
^This... Even though, you are better off finding a friend's help interms of getting a programmer for games, it wouldnt hurt to post at the GameDev and ask there also, because 50% people there are programmers for fun, fresh off the college, self learners. I think you will have a pretty good chance on getting atleast one…
Tsutaya usually has this in stock over here, as well as the monthly CG World magazine that always has something interesting from the jap gamedev scene (along with other 3d shenanigans). I think this annual Game Graphics mag is a sort of compilation of their game features. Last issue I think it was Final Fantasy, showing…
We work 40 standard. Very rarely some OT if a deadline is looming. It's basically a "get your work done" mentality. That being said, the schedules are very reasonable so as not to end up doing OT as much as possible. Interesting breakdown Robert, I still just can't believe it had to be done. The lack of awareness regarding the process of actually developing a videogame was just unbelievable, laughable even, specially for a gamedev forum like ours. At least I hope people with similar opinions (which I don't think are many, but still)…
Congrats! As a full-time dad / rest-of-the-time freelancer I can say it's been an amazing experience so far. Currently giving my little one a head start in gamedev art making. Just let 'em scribble wildly on my tablet or dig holes in paper sketchbooks (my old sketchbooks) with sloppy wet finger paints.
