The tools to deal with this are... edit mode, Ctrl+T to tessellate, Ctrl+Shift+F to 'turn', Alf+J to convert back to quad. Generally speaking once you do that the quad keeps it's turned edge orientation.
G3l: Arf! I should of thought that, Thanks! I'll repost a new image of it, when I got more to show, dont feel like posting up every little change of detail, thanks dude!
anyone got a decent global illumination rig they can send my way? I spend too long faffing with lighting and never get it right for a simple render to show player models standing on a white floor with a white sky... I'm using MAX 6 btw
oh wow everyone is really on their A game this time, great stuff ! :D I've been afk for the past week so here is my late start, still playing with the forms trying to lock down what i'm going for just height and normal at the moment.
If Breaking Bad had existed as a comic book series before it was made into a TV series, would you still think it was the best show since Alf? Or would you constantly think it falls short because they can't (or choose not to) follow the literal story of the comic book.
[ QUOTE ] AofE II?? Katamari Damacy? My interest is peaked, thought not the moths in my wallet. [/ QUOTE ] i kept talking about how awesome katamari damacy ds would be if they made it and apparently they are so fantastic. i'm also anticipating the inevitible starcraft ds.
well i am sure it could be tweaked a bit better by an expert, but is ok for now, does what i wnat it to do on the whole. i will probabyl contact the manufacturer though, it should not have needed all this faffing around tbh
If you take it apart, you can loose some weight by taking out the added weight. You also can "tweak" the middle mouse as far as how easy it moves forward and aft, though not really how it clicks.
Quick thought - why not just overlay the opacity map texture (set to Multiply mode) on to the spec map in Photoshop, and just use that as a spec map? It's essentially doing the same thing as a Mask material, but without all the material faff.
Hi FAF :) Thank your for your good advises! I will try to simplify things in Zbrush but I need to play around with it first. Does anybody have a good tutorial for color painting in Zbrush? I haven't seen one in the textures wiki. Thank you again
