@Mr Bear, $!nz : thanks, I do realtime at work all day everyday, and for personal projects i also try something different. But i plan on doing a sci fi environment in UDK/Sandbox, for my next project :)
Try a bloom on the led screen, like in my sci fi piece in my folio. Also maybe some glow on the pink stuff if you like ;) There doesn't seem to be any specular, don't know if you haven't got round to it or not.
Have a look on google for sci-fi vehicle concepts, browse sites like Deviantart and find designs that you really like - try to be inspired by others' creations. Look to modern, real-life aircraft and see how they're constructed.
Hi, I am interested in making those props you require for your project. I mostly do Sci-fi stuff so this would be fun to do. Feel free to check my portfolio on http://kingslayer101.artstation.com/
Imo this looks awesome. My only crit would be, that I think, that the hips are too wide. But that's just my opinion. What also jumped into my eyes were those cool sci-fi elements. (Mask, back) Cheers
Thanks for the answer, I'm using 4.6.3 (I think, not currently subscribed). I am using TLM_Surface, and the weird thing is that reflections do work as expected in the showcase scene (the sci fi hallway), but not in my scene, and this with the copy pasted material.
this is some really awesome stuff. I love how efficient it is. the sci-fi stuff at the top really reminds me of the old B&W Robotech: Sentinels comics in a very good way. And you wail at 3d? so cool!
Back to concepts! Getting properly to work on an idea that's been knocking around in my head for years but has never gotten the attention it deserved. Well, after years of organic tribal stuff.. it's time for sci fi! This project is called Two. :)
[ QUOTE ] woa, wtf is all this sit and piss shit, as it were......? [/ QUOTE ] If anyone here pisses shit, I'm callin' in the army. That's some sci-fi shit right there. Or japanese fetish material. *cough* shitting dick-nipples *cough*
[ QUOTE ] Rorshach will always have a place in my heart Long live Johnstone [/ QUOTE ] I remember being blown away by the use of fullbright colors on skins > I think you're responsible for the glowy sci-fi armor trend!
