Found the time to derp around with this thing again. Added some elements around to avoid the "floating head" syndrome. Don't really know where I'm going with this. Ref' used
Hi, Not sure what app you are using but there are a lot of soccer ball tuts (all using hexagon elements) out there. https://www.google.com/search?q=modeling+a+soccer+ball
If you look at the axe head on it's perfectly flat. You could add a bit more interest to it by bringing some elements out, like the gems and maybe model some of the spikes.
I think I also have a fix for this problem... If it's the same as what I run into sometimes, I just selected the whole element, and detached it as a new object, and that fixes it! :D
