I think the base mesh is finished now but not 100% sure. What do you guys think? if it is finished I will begin sculpting at the weekend :)

Thx EarthQuake, agree with you at 100%. I thought that there is no "MagicButton", but want to be sure. So in this situtation the best solution for me is to add such details in Photoshop.

Ah ok, so it works like a "virtual displacement" to get more depth? Yea i think UDK supports it but iam not 100% sure.

Make sure all vertices are 100% weighted to the weapon bone. Also dont forget to delete history, freeze transformations and all that good stuff.

You can bake what you see in MODO into base textures and then move it into UE4. Yes, it won't be 100% the same but it's a hell of a good start...
