I'll take my position as Medic for the MEC, and help Razor stay alive while we Bust a Hymen. I'd also like to apply for commander of the MEC (until someone calls mutiny), and help out the squad(s), hoping there will be a shortage of TKers.
That's good advice Artsy, but if that doesn't work you can try the Ol' merge it into a new scene, trick. Create a material from scratch? I've seen this happen when people bounce between MR and Scanline. Usually merging into a new scene fixes it.
yeah i'd either say lowpoly is all hard edges, the highpoly could also be the culprit if imported from zbrush. also check your uv map to make sure all your edges are merged (uv editor -> Polygons -> Merge Uv's)
Well, you could probably make a photoshop action, out of the top of my head, maybe merge all visible channels, ctrl click it to get selection, fill that out in the alpha channel, then to be safe dilate your merged layer a couple pixels.
I think I know what you mean. I'm definitely probably going to tone it down a bit, the human/animal meter keep tilting back and forth while I work on it between 100% a cat on legs to cat-like on legs.
Nice. The lower legs and the feet (very small) are looking a bit deformed though. Smoothing and elongating the convex curve of the calf on the outside of her legs (in the front view) should make it look a lot better, as well as making the feet a bit wider/bigger.
It was pretty fun last night :) ! Met like 15 different people, would have met more but I wasn't feeling well earlier in the evening and came in later. Still no Turbo this year, unfortunately :p .
It's funny I was considering widening the hips. yeh, maybe I'll try like merging, decimating, and then zremeshing to get a deformable mesh going. Hopefully I can just drop all the subdivisions and merge visible.
When I see those water column legs I'm thinking it might be cool to have creepy underdeveloped legs floating inside the membrane. The transparent outer layer could make some neat stuff.
OOh, it's simple (for me, I'm not sure about you huhu): the ability to add buttons linking to external mel scripts and internal mel commands. If you make the ui permanent, and customisable to that extend, that would be terrific.
