@shrike cheers for the comment, mate. Nice to get one from you. Mipp-mapping 101. :) Yeah, that was part of the design. This is purely a portfolio piece that I'm rendering offline so I was going for more of a real-world look rather than an in-game exaggerated bevel look as there'll be no mipping or LODing involved.

Their jobs page is hilarious... The animator post is just a bunch of big words for "I don't know what im talking about". Its basically telling you what an animator is and does. Not what you will be doing at that specific company. Animators 101. The fact they list off the principles of animation is just very noob to me.
Please. Skill has nothing to do with being an artist. You can vomit syringes and blood onto a canvas and say it's a commentary on the life of a starving fine-arts artist in today's consumerist society and be called an artist. All you need is A) a Sincere Message to Communicate, or B) Bullshitability 101. Actually, that…
Oh right. No in early versions you had to select the verts around the outside of the poly you wanted to create. I've been using Seneca's script since, ehr, probably 101 or 201 and never bothered to check otherwise :P edit: Yeah, I've just tested it and it works perfectly fine with the built-in function. No need for that…
Go In and Out Burger. As Donnie said "Those are good burgers". Walter Sobchek says "Shut the fuck up Donnie... and yes, those are good burgers". As mentioned before, Burbank to Pasedena isn't bad for LA, but it's still pretty bad (notably the 210/101 juncture). A good website to view the current state of freeway traffic…
I made the transition from Maya to Max about a year ago, and I found Eat3D's 3DS Max 101 DVD invaluable. Great value, and it covers just about all the Max functionality you could need, from modeling to lighting, some rigging and animation and even some of the cloth tools. I'd highly recommend it.
Hi Sammy 101, If you PM me ill send you my skype name. I'm on most of the day (Time zone +01:00), but i have more time to chat in the mornings. Im a huge substance fanatic, and if you want to discuss substance im all for it. (I'll learn from it as well ;) ) Cheers
