The skin for this guy looks terrible, the clothing all looks clean n nice but the skin has noise everywhere that dosnt really make sense. Esp if your going for a pixar look, you want clean smooth surfaces with some bumb details at selected places, not everywhere.
Insanely impressive! I have been trying for months to build a simple, fun, randomly generated, knight hack n' slash game very similar to this. Any pointers or major breakthroughs that you would be willing to share? Thanks for all your hard work. This is awesome! Cheers~
thats y you need to run the plug in importer for 3ds max. but you cant just go in and have a look at the textures, it saves it out as one seperate file with it all gathered into one, same with the game shaders but alot of the time max will n ot like the shaders...
Sweet! What flavor is it going to be? I prefer mint-n-chip, just thought I'd throw that out there... I know it's still wip, but you should definitely have the icecream wrap around the spikes so they look more embedded. Looks good! Keep it up :) .
same here! can someone please share their process of working with the rounded edge feature? especially with surfaces that being manipulated with boolean (crazy n-gons) ? and thanks for putting all of these amazing scripts in 1 thread..I use some of them and they save so much time!
nice! yep pretty much solves my problems right there. wonder if theres gonna be an update for 2011, currently only works for 09. god damn maya n its lack of modeling tools.everything has to be a script @pedro: hmm not sure, i'l look into it tomorro tho
be sure to give K-fed and Paul a nice round of ass slappin when ya get there! -Its sure to be wild n crazy time! hopefully you can help make the 303 a flourishing hub for game dev activity. ND and Idol are cool, but it needs MOAR!!
The server is up 24/7. Our next scheduled game is sat eve but you can post if ya wanna meet some people, ya know? I'll be up for a game or two all week. Just post a time n' stuff and I'll meet ya there.
Ok then, if that slice of the marketplace is a primary focus, you'd better have "all your ducks lined up in a row" too begin with. Q: - Previous experience running any sort of small/micro business, (15+ staff) whether online or brick-'n-mortar high street storefront?
oh wow thats kinda sad to hear. but i guess with SWTOR coming out n all there's no point to compete. also considering that they lost most of their players when they decided to revamp the game (thats why i left), still you're right though, there are a lot of fond memories.
