Calling it a day. Again, not too pleased with it in the end. Didn't really justify the amount of time spent on it (15+ hours inc all versions?). Good learning experience though.
this looks fantastic, i really like the style you have and the amount of gibs you leave on the screen! this reminds me further that i need to get a better phone
keyframe and explode(move a set amount away) each object(in high and low) to avoid any raytrace intersecting. Then add all of your low/high as suggested above.
Just wanted to add that you don't need such amount of geometry towards the poles, try to keep the polygon size kind of consistant by reducing their number. That will also help for unwrapping.
@Zer02Her0 thank you for the encouraging words, I definitely recommend doing studies even in a short amount of time you might notice how much of a change they will make. :)
