Update on this baby. Slow on the updates had a fellow student lined up to do a rig for her, but that person got a job. So had to do it myself! Turns out I'm not the quickest at it hahaha. This isn't finished, still looking for C&C

Nope, AMD hasn't updated the driver on this thing since January of '11, and Aero doesen't seem to be causing the issue. Thanks for the suggestions though. I've been looking through some of my logs, and it appears that directx was updated recently. Might that be the problem?
Bek, it's already ingame with recent update, only thing that it's old version there, but i update it in near future hopefully :) PBR is more esteticly pleasing to make and you can always convert it to spec\gloss easily. The Lone Penguin, thanks man :)
update to the anatomy quick refrence board to show what im roughly going for and an update on how he looks dressed all clthes are only at subd 3 detail there is a lot more work to be done on them :) all crit welcome x
Primarily that NDO allows for live updating of the textures via Photoshop whereas CrazyBump works on static versions. So with nDo you can paint the normal map and see updates immediately. There are probably lots of techy differences but to me that's the largest one.
New update. I was not happy with my previous progress. So decided to sculpt it again. More details and few changes will add later. In next update I will post my thoughts about concept. Critiques/feedback are most welcome. Shield.
some frequent updates here as soon as there is some progress or update would be nice, people like me but I think many others as well are always interested in other tools and technologies - more so if they are within a free nature like blender.
