The scale seems off for the different objects. The candle stick is too large, while the pitcher and the dagger are too small. -

In the art classes I took lots of kids over did it with the smudge sticks until it looks messy and blurry. -

The one thing that sticks out to me is the metalness map. I think that should just be a regular spec map. -

Meshlab? For this? It's better that he sticks to the app he's learning and learns how to optimize by hand, because that's what's expected.
