Every second of your free time should be put in 3D atm. You life should be sleep, eat, work 3D, take a break from screen, nothing else. That's how you get better as a student, by spending every second of your "free time" working on your portfolio. -

Yea 3D artists can make just about anything :D i like doing animations more then modeling but both are fun. I just better at animation then modelling but with practice my modeling with get better. Still a college student so i got lots to improve on still -

Coming from a current university student, I regret everything. Everything that Ceebee said but get a standard job aswell to pay for it all. Look for intern ships too around the area. 3 years Experience > Degree. Don't treat it as a gimmicky job, it's hard work and eventually good pay. -

Also gotta compare not just the cost of extra schooling to become a doctor, but also whether if someone started working 4 years earlier, invested lots of money, what kind of returns they could get vs. someone that has tons of student loans and starts saving money years later. -

What do you mean both your projects have been for students? You're not completing class assignments for them, are you? With regards to what you've posted here, I think you could really work on your cloth sculpting and how clothing/items interact with the character's body. -

Thank you Amsterdam Hilton Hotel for answering my questions! Now I understand why the school I will be attending require a portfolio as part of the student selection process. Now I got a pretty good idea for what I need to spend my time on. Appreciate your help!
