Honestly, I don't think his head looks too big, I think it looks great! You just need to adjust his stance :) You may be able to fix it when you rig him, though.

Some great concepts! I really dig the stylized environment piece. Here is my blockout. I used fspy to match the perspective in Blender. Next step is to plan out my trims. Not sure how I'm going to tackle the muddy dirty ground yet. Tips are appreciated! Good luck everyone!

Done~! well, in terms of texture/modeling... gotta learn to rig now.... probably gonna get rid of some of the obvious symmetry in the arms now that i finally finished the seam texturing (which took a while to find a good method..)
I dont know about performance differences between Nvidia and ATI in such applications, but i personally use a radeon 6870 and never had Problems with Drivers or Performance on any 3D Application. I dont think the difference is that big, but Nvidia has CUDA which is an advantage. But i have to say that 16 Gig might sound…
