Also, stay the F off facebook and reddit during work hours. Focus on your work for the time you are at your desk. Get your shit done in a timely manner, and no one is going to bust your balls for not staying late. If they do, then ya. Not a very good place to work.
i revived this head to play around with some more automated hair generation techniques using fibermesh. it leads to a quick start with a full head of hair in the shape and volume i was after - and endless grueling cleanup of the generated f$%!!king mess. still a good way from completion.
No I am unfortunately not attending since I am broke as f***. You do know me, I believe Kasper has invited you to our new years party. That also mean that I was a student at 3DC, now I am just stuck here for work..

Hey Polyfriends More WIP ! Started working in a specular map, my idea is that I want to catch highlights on the edges of the normal details. My lightmaps seem to be totally f*cked though, check out that cool shadow above the door ! Anyway, C+C welcome as always :)
why don't you just remember the hotkey's :) You can also make them custom. I've got: p=perspective, f=front, b=bottom, l=left, t=top and then the custom ones: shift+b=back, shift+l=right. who needs a compass ;)
No no no... I think you meant "every crate needs an environment" not the other way around. You cannot just depend on the environment to look good, you must first depend on the crate, and once your trust is in that crate, the environment will follow. Its science really... pure... f-in... SCIENCE!
My thoughts? It's f***ed up with a healthy measure of awesome. Loving the detail. But there are a few striations around the nose and eye that seem a bit too flat edged. I think rounding them out would make them fit better with the rest of the model and wouldn't stand out.
Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe Mount & Blade or any other non A3 title that wasn't released last week. It feels as if alot of people think like an inverted version of "MEGA64: If you're not indie then f*** you!". Seems like indie is the new geek since it's "cool" to be a gamer nowadays.
Ah sorry I should've been more specific, when you draw a stroke out, pressing the shift key will snap it to angles. For placing strokes more accurately, have you tried turning polyframe on (shift+f I think) and looking at your topology to see where to stroke?
