This done quickly and without reference just to get an idea down quickly. This done from reference of a painting done for a book called "Dinotopia" in 1998. Found the image in the book called "Color and Light, A Guide for the Realist Painter" by James Gurney. -

Playing Banjo-Kazooie back in 1998. I remember exactly where in the game, i said to myself : that's what i want to do. I really like Rare stuff. I'm more in "serious" game industry now though. -

Some interesting photos in there; there are some beautiful examples of Neoclassical and Art Deco architecture downtown worth photographing, such as Smith Tower (1914), Seattle Tower (1929), Exchange Building (1930), Seattle Asian Art Museum (1933), to name a couple. -

is your computer from 1986? P100 w/ Voodoo2 (from 1998 ) can go 45fps with 3500 polys onscreen with 5 256x256 textures on 640x480 -

Jane's WWII Fighters had some nice looking volumetric clouds, but since it was 1998 and the world wasn't ready for such things yet it was pretty damn slow -

The M1 tank has been in service for thirty years. What's another two decades, right? I mean, we see so many people crusing around in 1958 Fords, clearly the military has no need to actually upgrade their equipment.
