Hello! First time posting here! I just finished modelling my stylised Clara and the Rat King. My next steps will be rigging and possibly some animation. More images: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/R3VwRO
I would look at King Cobra and other naga reference for the tail. I think the white part needs to be on the ground, and it has to twist and curl more laterally. That is the whole point of the specialized scales on the underside, it is their propulsion system :)
Loved the first one all around, except that wannabe king guy, he was a meanie. The second one gave me a feeling of being a teen and summer. It was really well shot overall. Both great watches :D
If you can afford it..take a break...purge..relax...enjoy your accomplishment..for a month or two...Then hit the ground running with making your portfolio a polished bomb of employability. In the land of the art-dev jungle, Portfolio is king
wow these sculpts really remind me of the darksiders style, looks great! also, is that concept from D3? looks very similar to the skeleton king on his throne. Loving the almost comical nature of the skull :) nice work.
Some more progress done. Duke has now pants, boots and sunglasses. I'm thinking I might need to make him bulkier, a little bit more Schwarzenegger and less Stallone: "Hail to the King, baby!"
awesome site :) one thing I noticed, on the lich king vids if you click on part 3, it takes you to part 4. and 4 takes you to 5 etc.. dunno if thats youtube or your site
anyone watch king 5 news tonight? http://www.king5.com/news/Seattle-woman-creates-YouTube-video-to-work-for-software-company-126398143.html .... .... ... I don't even know what to think about it... ...
Josh, you're a Holy Paladin too? So was I when I played! Quit a few months after raiding Lich King before Ulduman was out because it was draining way too much of my time.
not a bad start, it looks king of stubby but its hard to tell from that one angle. the biggest concern i have at the moment is how tight your edges are, most of them wont transfer well when you bake
