Sculpting cracks in Zbrush
I been playing with zbrush brush and trying to do cracks but cant seem to get it right can anyone want give some tips on how you do your own cracks on stone concrete please do tell or did a little demo of it. -

more floor work, bit of grease and shinealong the path and some good old fashioned dirt in them corners. lastly sprinkle a few smaller items, paper, stones small rubble around the non walked areas -

Started on the crown! I plan to work his skin more stone like, I don't like the soft skin he has in the movies etc. In the comics they suggest a rough skin, which I find logical. -

That's just beautiful, no other word for it. My only crits at this point are that the stones/pebbles are sticking out of the ground a bit too much on the beach and the small scale looking rocks in the distant shores but despite those, outstanding work! -

that stone texture is looking very good, just the right amount of details for great readability. Cool to see something clean for once when a lot of people tend to put way too much grunge on that kind of texture -

I'm calling this done, this project was pretty successful. I kinda have an idea now on how to paint skin and faces. Might have to practice painting wood and stone sometime. The gif is a bit fast...oh well. -

maybe you could fix your pose a bit, right now I can't feel the weight from the character. especially if he has that kind of arm, and one leg stepping on a stone. keep up the work :) -

that wood-like organic surface looks freaking cool. shame that legs are cut like that though. if the hard surface stuff is supposed to be stone then it doesn't look like it. mostly due to sharp edges and thin long forms. -

To keep it simple, self-teach yourself, but make sure you're making a game atthe same time. You'll hit two birds with one stone. And especially if you're planning on being a game developer, make a game then! -

Nice Nate. This is one of the better pieces I've seen from you. The rocks and stones turned out pretty legit. Love the placement of the waterwheel. Can't wait to see more. Keep up the good work man.
