Looking good, gonna follow this one for sure. I have to agree with @Marshkin though, your not really utilizing the full power of the PBR. I would try to lower the contrast and general shading in the albedo and let the PBR maps do the heavy lifting a bit more.
In the final pose; let her arms be pretty much the same as they were stretched out a few frames before, only pushed backwards slightly, and a little down, like she's ready for any incoming attack the final 2 wing flaps; let the first flap be faster than the second, and let the second ease out till the end The feet seem to…
this is what I currently have for my scene. I think I may have my GI/light strength just a little bit high (hitting the white a little to hard) and I am having a hell of a time with the metal wall that the 2 is on, I turned off the material that was on it before for this shot and just have a place holder there now. think I…
the torso looks too much like a flattened tube. you shouldn't lift the crotch up, that would just make the arms too long in relation to the rest of the body. instead focus on the outline, mainly of the torso and pelvic area and add some curvature there. the thighs could be a little bit bigger, too. the abs are a little too…
This is great! In the first shot though, I think your right eye really needs a bright specular reflection, since currently it looks a bit like a fake or missing eye without that specular kicker.
Without explaining what you are truing to do its hard to give an answer. At a guess you may be describing that your extraction is going in the wrong direction. Negate the extraction. On the tool you are trying to extract from and go to display properties (main tool menu) and check double is not lit. if the tool appears…
Thanks for the feedback! Been working on adding some values and variety, mostly the rocky bits the house stands on. Also been teaching myself UDK so I can get the house properly lit up. I have also been stalking the incredible Jessica Dinh's thread http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=105526 Really pushing…
This is pretty old, but I made a few updates on this so I can add it to my portfolio, and I thought I would share. I got a suggestion to show it lit up at night as well as day so I can show off both the details and the cool lighting. Let me know what you think. :) Oh and the site doesn't exist on the internet yet, so dont…
Phew! Finally done! There was this old animation I had started back then that I promised myself to finish and here it is: I wanted to improve my character lip sync and acting skills. Here's the high quality unlit version: https://vimeo.com/278403495 And here's the ''lit'' light version: https://youtu.be/c3j0IwjKnys It was…
Thats the one I (and Hanno Hagedorn) learned the basics of organic modelling from. Way back when our English was so rudimentary, we didnt know that timelapse means speed up. So we tried to hit Irfans speed doing the same thing over and over and over again hot seating on Hannos PC, we got close, tho never this fast. Took…
