The Admiral - Modeled and painted in Sculptris (the shirt in max), anyone know what happened with the pixelated streaks (ie the one going horizontally from eye across the forehead?) Not sure what is going on there... Pete
what i did was apply a shader to the objects that will be underwater, which mixed in a fog color depending on how much below the water surface the pixel/fragment is.
At first I was like "I could translate that" then I realised the scroll bar was a few pixels thick and I thought "no thanks" A truly incredible machine.
Just incase anyone is wondering the way to fix the edge pixels in zbrush that just magically appear when you export the document is to render it first. So...
Try reversing the normals on those black faces. That yellow color in the normal map basically says "These pixels only appear bright if the light is behind them."
8000x5738 is kinda excessive, don't you think? Especially since the image quality isn't exactly great, the render is pixelated, and your photoshop layers are showing:
Trying this out with sketchfab using 2K textures. I was able to generate 8k textures with the updates they did to the pixel processor with 5.2 [SKETCHFAB]63fff6b12c084beeafb290cdc0b9b9cd[/SKETCHFAB]
