thats pretty crazy. The start is boring... but thats the same as a video of a dude with a trumpet saying "this is how you hold an E," "Now, this is how you can make the note sound twice!" that performace is prett rad, although i cant stand that digital tone.
The point was to do it outside of working in vector. I've been wanting something like a lazy brush in Photoshop as well for some time. As conventient vectors are, I can't stand using them when I'm trying to be "organic" and do some digital painting in Photoshop.
ceramics and 2d design sound like good ideas, both of which are applicable to digital art, probably moreso than sculpture. having good design skills is not something many have, its good to learn more about that stuff and hone those skills.
thankyou, but I post my art as often as i can. Most of it is too big for the scanners at my school and I don't have access to a digital camera very often. The last picture on here I had done about 3 months ago.
Bold visions 'The digital painitng bible by gary tounge is pretty good for a overview of enviroment work and starting/expanding concept design. Robat posted another good one, Force '' which i reccomend too. Bridgemans draped figure is good for clothing aswell ;)
Yeah, I used these for all of the animated textures in STACKED as well. Very easy to use. Although, I wasn't aware of the last digit - to make it stay on screen (I duplicated the line name for each frame). Good tip, Eric - that's not explained in the docs :P
my favorite concept: (commercial work for mad-doc) my favorite digital painting: (based on nutsy's sketch) my favorite 3D including model, texture & animation; as you can probably tell from my icon: (commercial work for mad-doc)
I bet it's something like Modo writes just digits in fbx file and Maya think its default fbx cm instead of inches and re-scale them. But I have no idea really. But I try to keep unites metric in every ap
I always was intrigued by MS and wanted to use it but I need to get good with a pencil and paper first before jumping on to a digital medium, but once I do, I am definitely going to give MS and sketchbook pro(for some reason) a go. :P
I was working at a computer shop and as it slowly went out of business in February 2012 I did 3d in the back all day then decided in February 2012 I got a digital tutors sub, as for getting into games I started working on a Halo mod in Cryengine.
