The "glow" is set to black, try change it to a white/lighter value? Your opacity map likely doesn't work as you intend since it's setting is likely not correct. Translucent will give you the "middle ground" you're looking for. Depends what the opacity map looks like and what its purpose is -

The renderframework is not the isue here, remember PS3 doesn't run DirectX either. The engine is definitely coded in a way that switching render framework is no insurmountable issue. True, I didn't intend for it to be a pure VS thread, just what people would advise would be a good step for me. Seeing as I have access to Mudbox, I will get going with that. It's just that Mudbox gets slatted in some areas on the internet, so I wanted a wider opinion. :) -

looks pretty good, my second favorite character on darkstalkers :) (Felicia is king) but what about her wing ears and hair, what are you intending for those? and ya her legs look kind of Chun Lee'esk. Which is kind of ok, but morrigan has slimmer more elegant legs. -

Thanks for the help mate I really appreciate it. I'm at a stage now where I feel i'm hitting a wall (pun not intended). The scene is coming on well but just looks too clean, I'm not sure what else to add, any suggestions? Here are some more recent updates. -

That's why you're running into this issue. The minimum requirements for 3DO include a GTX 600 series video card for it to function correctly. It isn't designed to work with an integrated chipset like the processor you're using as a display device. Unless you're able to use a video card, 3DO will unfortunately not function… -

Looks really cool, if its going to be a portrait, I'd suggest casting some shadow over the part with the holes to make it more like some creepy thing that you notice after watching a while. Now it's a but more in your face (no pun intended) than I would personally make it. -

Re: Giving up the high poly or not?
The only time I've withheld anything, is when they haven't paid. After they've paid I'd gladly give them everything. As far as I'm concerned they own it. Including PSD's ZB files, and PSD's. What exactly are you intending to do with the high poly? Other than hold it for ransom?
