Baj is right you know? Saving up for Intuos is the way to go. Bamboo is for those who have never used it or just use it for fun. It does the job for you but eventually you will want to buy Intous so why not save up and buy it? I am using bamboo and planning on buying Intous soonish. -

Hehe, there are enough people on the boards who are in the industry that discussions like this don't remain anonymous for long. Hopefully you can reach an agreement you can live with. I just wanted to clear up the confusion and give some background about why the wages for the entry level temp positions seemed so low. -

I like the idea of modular characters or a horde of something, I've been meaning to make one myself. Right now I think a lot people are busy with the holidays, which is why it's probably best to plan this out now, get in contact with people who want to do it and start it when the new year starts. -

While I loved Halo 2 and it was probably my favorite installment to the series next to 3 and ODST, I can understand why many didn't like it. It's a great time to be a Halo fan, not such a great time to be somebody who doesn't own an XB1. One day they'll port all of this to PC, I hope! -

Shouldn't your work show how serious you are, not your website, or the fact that you have one? I'm not sure why you HAVE TO make a website, to be honest (imo) if a company likes your work they should interview you, know who you are/ your work ethics, then decide if they want to hire you. -

This is really confusing me, if you don't want to be a TA why does this topic exist? Not like your being pushed into the job. Since you pretty much have to apply for it or be pushed towards that role within the studio because you are a more technically minded artist who can create his own tools. -

People work for a variety of different reasons. This is acceptable to some, and unacceptable to others -- why belittle people who think it's worth it? That'd be like someone saying you're a fool to waste your life as a tech artist when you could be doing a 'real job', it's your prerogative to work how and where you want. -
