nomatter what creature you do and how weird it looks claim everytime that it is intended this way nad refer to freedom of speech in terms of art and never listen to people claiming to want to help you, dhey dont they just want to piss you off
I tried to indicate more underlying structure and I made the stars less uniform and gave them a bit of a glow. I should probably paint an environment or something with a human in it to start off as how this creature would work wasn't entirely thought out.
These were great, always cheated at them although there was one book no matter how I cheated I could never complete it I had to skip parts I could never get it to work and could never find the decent ending. Creature of Havoc.
That's one benefit I think that competitions have. Smaller ones especially. Look at the great art that the Domwars have brought up in the past. The Brawl competition. The various minis on GA. Conceptart has those Creature of the Week ones, where it resets once a week.
the heavy noise on all your characters seems a bit much, especially when you add in the in-game noise overlay you've got implemented. i would like to see (slightly) cleaner textures. project is looking good. like the demon-dog creature.
And so it begins....Minecraft Creator drops Potential Oculus Rift game after Facebook Acquisition. http://www.arcticstartup.com/2014/03/26/minecraft-creator-drops-potential-oculus-rift-game-after-facebook-aquisition
You mentioned that the game has rpg parts to it. I was wondering if the game IS an rpg or what you're trying to do without giving too much away. Private message is fine. I have work I can show for 2d and 3d character and creature art.
Before getting all those details done you really should take some references of a dog or something similar and work on the proportions of your creature. For now it looks really wobbly (Zbrush syndrome), so I'd get to a lower subdivision and rework the big shapes.
Looks like Scott Spencer has some videos up of a new model he painted: [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7ddpVVPXag"]Paint a demonic creature bust in ZBrush (1 of 9) - YouTube[/ame] He works with similar techniques, only in zBrush.
Cool dude! Only thing I could point out (for the sake of pointing something out) is that the eyes could maybe do with a little gradient (maybe orange) and a tiny idea of structure. here's another one... I love the eyes on these creatures =D Best regards!
