My normal map renders entirely yellowish. The normals themself are fine but the color is weird. i know it's suppose to be that blueish color. max settings are on default. why does this happen?
Anyone know if there is a way to adjust where the terminator happens on a shader, I'd like to push it backwards from it's default so it is a smooth linear transition rather than having a realistic tight curve.
@gnoop I downloaded a trial for SpeedTree, I played with the default desktop realtime bush, and there actually might be something off in terms of how these newer versions handle normals :(

i have a standard 32bit targa with an alpha channel plugged into a Lambert in maya. is there anyway to toggle the transparency on and off? by default mayas making my object see thru and its difficult to work. Thank you

I can 'reset editor material slots' but I would like to delete all material from scene that my object in the scene will be clear with default material?
