it seems this may be the problem - http://community.thefoundry.co.uk/discussion/topic.aspx?f=83&t=87255 But world space normals behave unpredictably for me too. Like all technical issues I'll figure it out someday but I don't have time right now. -

so 2010 was screwed up, 2011 less F-ed up, and 2012 is the least srewed up so far. I'm not sure when they mention part of xbr is diet but 2012 installer is whooping up to 3gb, that's insane to compare to 2009 file size. -

Games that gives you an instant fear from a single sound or look, such as the monkey scream from System Shock 2, those f-er makes my skin crawl every time I hear them and expect to get hit by a psychic blast. -

hm...try to relax those parts , i do it in max and it works pretty well , i also dont worry much about the top of the head if it is skin etc, but f it needs mechanical or advance hair detail i would detach those parts. -

The funniest one was on TV recently... AVP has on the back "a bold tale of homosexual love". BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA its not far wrong... I felt F***** in the a** by the producers of that movie. -
Re: Max 2010 vs 2011
I'd wait until 2011 was out awhile until I made a decision. Max usually has some crazy bugs and f-up's until a service pack is released :P If you need to choose RIGHT NOW, I would go with 2010.
