I just checked it, and MY GOD it felt so perfectly in that Episode 1 mood <3 It was like going 20 years ago in a dream (damn...now we're old guys !) Thank you so much for bringing this to the community @JorgeBarros , "Yoda" best !!
My second attempt on the face. I'm calling this one done but would love to hear what you guys have to say. This one took me 4-5 days but I work full-time. I would say a good 20 hrs.
Hells yeah dude! much more gnarly now! Seems like you are losing some wrinkle detail in your bake though? Looking at your ZB viewport vs your latest paint, the face details seem about 20-25% softer?
Very nice find. Nifty to look at ... even not being a character artist. That tool he wrote seems nifty too. WTB that UV script and realtime UV editor display of UV warping... looks like Roadkill but 20 times better and inside of Maya.
I like them in games where they need to add a sense of urgency, there's been a few recent games where its constantly saying hurry, this is about to explode, but you could just sit there for 20 minutes and nothing would happen. LoZOT did it well.
A better DM workflow is to decimate ro 20% and preprocess again. Then decimate again. Doing staged deci like this will better retain the original forms. Then tweak the % till you get what you want. Decimating straight from 3m to 5k is an intensive op.
Blender has 20 "layers" , You can use "M" button to assign objects to specific layer and then layer widget on the bottom of 3d view . Plus it has "groups" , a kind of object tagging for quick selection . Nothing especially sophisticated in its outliner unfortunately.
I'v yet to see anything that has really blown me away in 3d. I dunno if its just my sony tv and blueray but only about 20 or 30% looks really 3d, is that normal or should I have gone for a Samsung or something?
If your getting into language learning check out Anki, flash decks. It's free and you can use it on your phone/computer I found this article about learning languages really helpful as well http://fourhourworkweek.com/2009/01/20/learning-language/
What is your Autobak setting? I've changed mine to be 20 files, saving every 5 minutes. If I'm working on a large file, I'll reduce this because it slows work down too much, and save more often. Save incremental is a big help.
