update on the unwrap of the top half of the model, some wasted space, ill try and make it more efficient just noticed an pretty stupid error in the middle major overlapping :/ my bad will fix in the next update
Heres a small update, been working on her shoulder piece. keeping it bird themed while doing a kind of oni japanese mask carving theme to it. I will be updating her clothing design soon :D
Edit (9/25/18) - I've updated my portfolio, and my favorite piece has updated along with it! This was done in UE4, and I learned a lot during this project while focusing on my assets and materials.
thanks guys fixed and updated a few stuff 1. body proportions and shape, 2. done the headband and updated the colors of the textures and specular variations I think I'm done and ready to continue the project that was on hold :)
there is a new Update online - the shader v0.2x is now implemented in my toon shader (v0.51) - added vertex color support for both shader - fixed some bugs I've updated the first post check it out
I'll be updating my portfolio soon with a slew of the weapons and props that I did. We also have Snight and GameDev here on polycount who also worked on the game...they might be updating their portfolios as well :D
quick update: Ok, finally got my normals and some diffuse on there! Gonna add some alphas to the tail very soon. I've never done a spec map, but I plan to add one :) update:
The baked images my still be resident in video memory. Make sure to update the preview material to reference the new files on disk. You can do this manually by editing the material or by pressing the [P] button in the baker to update the material
So I took a really long break from UDK. (Last time I used it was around the June update) I come back to downloaded the September update and...wtf. Whenever I click play in editor threes no weapon, and the camera seems zoomed in. The sound doesn't work. Is there anything else major I should know about?
