the whole thing looks like its made out of one continuous mesh , and i was just curious where you mirrored it. So and individual asset wire would be nice.
@VeryCrunchyTaco thanks for the encouraging words. looking forward to see your final results too! the progress so far, will continue this in January. enjoy your year end break people~
You can never be so bad that you shouldn't actively look for job opportunities, and you can never be so good that you shouldn't continue to improve your portfolio
Exactly, theres no need for them to impress at E3 or to anyone other than the mainstream casual gaming market that they have by the balls. I just wonder how long they can continue that.
Hi man! Looks pretty detailed. Are you going to add any sculpted details on top of the smoothed hi-poly? Interested in how the progress would go on. Waiting for continuing.
OMG hahaha!! Strange situation though, seems kinda serious with these updates. I hope they can continue to make their games instead of all getting sent to the Gulag by Mr. Kotick...
The opening line is a homage to one of my favorite writers, also i am not sure if I should add a "the end" "to be continued" etc to the story uhg... time is running out!!
Depends on the asset and what challenge you're tackling. You design sense can be helped by continuing sketches and concepting on your own, and getting those designs vetted by others, etc.
Any particular reason for going with separate elements? Generally speaking it would probably be more efficient for a game engine (less verts) that is if this is for a game, and easier to unwrap as a single continuous mesh.
I think the runes look too soft, like theyre stamped into clay. Making it a bit rougher with some light/worn edges will help push it. Continue being awesome!
