Looking great so far! I think the rocks look too shiny though, unless it's raining of course. Dry rock and stone should have a pretty low gloss and spec.
Maybe see if you can decrease the spacing between the stones? I imagine they should be a little more compact if possible. Your normals are looking really good I must say.
Update, started working on the forest area of the landscape, testing the tessellated stone wall material using a bridge mesh. I got few other rock and cliff meshes in the scene as well.
"A dangerous stone axeman eats a frozen wooden prostitute on an alien planet!" that just makes me wet... though imagine the splinters that one could get eating a frozen wodden prostitute
I made a rock with a stone and sand smart material. When i save the preset for use with a different mesh it only creates the sand material. How do i save the preset with everything that's been done in a project?

Direct deposit, checks, and PayPal are all options. I use PayPal and have had no problems. For the asset packs themselves, you can adjust the price of your asset…
Auto-Load Textures - Always: Tick box for auto-loading when marmoset isn't the active window. For clarity. 2 monitors, I work in Photoshop on Monitor #1. On Monitor #2 I have Toolbag sitting doing a very slow idle model spin. I save my textures out, Marmoset does not reload the textures until I move out of Photoshop and…
the no texture argument doesnt make a lot of sense. a vertex could hold more information but you`re going to end up with very big meshes if you want a vertex to store a bunch of potential outcomes for the tesselated interpolations. lets say you have 2 verts and inbetween those verts you have 100pixels in your texture,…
the funny thing is, there's a copyright law in China... but it goes like this "just swap a letter around or change a color from the original and you're safe" ;) There's all kinds of weird knockoffs all out in the public which are total ripoffs of western brands. My favorite is the Chinese Lacoste store which features the…
Totally depends on the game engine you're working with. Some store all the LODs in one exported file, using naming conventions for the models or some other tagging method (like max's Custom Attributes). Others store each LOD as a separate exported file. Something to note... the fading/morphing kind of LOD switching method…
