i think i can visualize what you mean. Do you think the tentacles will be kind of symmetrical in this way? I'm trying not to make the tentacles constantly flow together in a way and I'd like them to float around differently from eachother at some points.
wait u just mean that they are not rendered straight? this is just an float round up problem then if the coordinates are as they should be. do not mind this the math is right.... it is just the numbers the gfc gets are rounded a bit.... if your zoom level gets to high eg. the space for numbers gets to small.....

the flickering is probably the joint flipping I mentioned - you'll see spikes in rotation curves for the joints in question. theres a few scripts floating about that reckon they fix it - try swithcing to TCB controlers and reimporting onto the same skeleton though - you might get lucky
Thanks guys, and yeah I've been bugged about the folds, but I thought that it was good practise. I'll give it a second shot tho, and about the waistband floating in mid air, I just thought of that after I posted the image, so I'll change that tomorrow.
Hey man, that rocks. Mind showing an imagine of the McFarlane toy? It'll help with the critiques. I like the colouring - the opacity on the wings is a little blurry and you've got some colour that's floating off the wing unrealistically. Some better shots of the wireframe would be nice too.
Looks good man but i cant help but feel like modeling in all those small details directly into the highres is really slowying you down(and creating some wonky geometry in places) it would be a lot better to float those sort of details on top imo.
Sorry, no. But yes it was the low-poly cage model, I remember d/l it to take a look. Ask him, he probably has it floating around, from what I remember he said on his site he was offering it free for anyone to use/abuse.
Yeah the cylinder looks much better now, you can do those indents with floating geo pretty easily. Also yeah lol at tiny holes. The bits in the back you put a little snap cap on that ignights the gun power, thats not the size of the bullet =)
