Yeah I mean the best case is to actually see a monitor in person before you buy it. That said, TN panels generally suck if you care about color accuracy and consistency (some people don't seem to notice or care about TN color shift), this is not based on "specs" but extensive personal experience. As Xendance said you can use different post process volumes to adjust the DOF. You can also animate the DOF in matinee. That's how I did the pull focus shots in this video : http://vimeo.com/22880192 -

It's really up to you. The only difference in features is the GPU Boost 2.0, which is their automatic temperate based overclocking. Otherwise they both have pretty much the same feature set. I was lucky and got a 760 for $220
