I appreciate the concepts you gather dude. They're always good. Still, I never would have thought that it would take hours to gather them. The thread you just made seems fine to me and you knocked it up pretty quickly.
Played around with light settings added a few more props into the scene. Also started looking into better foliage practices and hope to implement that into the next milestone! But current process and experimentation with tree models, which I hope to use to quickly generate a dense background.
Not a big deal, but if SHIFT + L is used while renaming a scene entity ("Light01"), the entity becomes locked. Would love to have a more organized material viewer. I believe someone mentioned the short material captions, it makes it difficult to quickly find materials.
Day 4: Getting some tanker ideas filled down quickly, starting to fill up the space and get a better idea of how I want the structure to be. Still a bit slow on progress but I'm happy that I'm able to make time to keep working.
post one of the WIP pics in the what are you working on thread, dude. a lot of the threads rise and fall so quickly it's up to when you were browsing to see what gets posted, but anyone can follow a link from the stickied WAYWO thread
I think this might address your problem, if I'm reading it correctly. I whipped this up rather quickly, so ask if it's not clear. It's one of those little tricks that will make you pull your hair out until you see it, then it's totally obvious. :)
Hey guys, Just for say, I didn't stop the project, I'm pretty busy right now but I'll try to quickly get over it! @frame_first ---> Thanks a lot for your replie, your solutions seem to be rather effective, I will test it as soon as possible!
I hate hearing this since I was working at Disney Interactive at the time this studio was founded. But after the POTC game was cancelled it seemed like trouble was on the horizon. Hope everyone can find jobs quickly! The few guys I met there were very awesome.
it's looking pretty good dude! I'm wondering if you could maybe hold a little more after each hit to make it a little more readable instead of going to the next attack in the combo so quickly. Do you have any other views of this?
Er, I quickly edited your post there - you had your FTP login name and password as part of the URL, that's probably not a good idea... unless that was intentional? You can edit that post to fix it... I just didn't want anyone causing trouble...
