doubt i will bother overclocking the cpu at first, prolly will wait to close to the end of the computers lifespan, since i generally just want shit to work and be stable with as little messing about as possible. so it seem 1600 is best with good timeing land latency
Bear in mind the larger ssds also generate slower data transfer speeds if you look at the current benchmarks; anything over 256GB. I know the Fractal Design R4/5 are decent. I have the NZXT h630 silent tower and the temperatures are good
the other year i resized, entirely manually and one-by-one, about 1600 textures. I won't go into the details of why it had to be done that way, but it did, and it was very important, hence i did it myself i quite enjoyed it. It was like being on drugs
Thank you @Piemaster for the kind words. The final count was 1632 faces. I tired to optimise as much as possible on the top, so most of the faces are on the cylinder to keep a nice shape going into the detail going into the base.
Starscream 4214 Triangles I could knock out about 1600 triangles from the hands, if I need to, but I wanted them to be seperate joints for this. I'll post a clip of it transforming later.
Hey fellow polycounters. http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/9630/whyfv0.jpg As you can see, the image in CS2 is NOT the same image that I opened on my desktop using the windows file viewer. Why would CS2 change the color? I believe all settings are factory default. Any ideas?
a friend of mine has a spare PNY Quadro FX 5800 to sell (factory new, sealed in box...) shop price is around 3k €. it would be sold for 1600€. PM me if you are interested thanks! http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_quadro_fx_5800_us.html
Hi EarthQuake! Thank you so much for your message! Yes I'm on 4.02. OS is Win 10,, GPU is Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 , driver up to date. I followed your advice and tried with another scene from the library but same business :/
Mostly edited the handle textures. Close to call this done. And the texture flats.. Real size 2k [EDIT]: Photoshop is really misleading regarding the darkness in the pictures :S [EDIT2]: Realized that tinypic crops pictures abowe 1600 >.< changed to imagehack, even thou i HATE it (:
