Just wondering if anyone has ran across and would recommend some decent books or resources on dynamic drawing, concept figure drawing, things based around that sort of thing. Anything based around characters, concepts and even some environment stuff would be cool. Cheers :D
Hi everyone, First of all i am not good on drawing, i saw this sculpting on jorduschell's website and i wanted use that. Here is the first wip images. I hope you like this. Inspirations: I started drawing from sphere in zbrush. This is work in process's images
Just a spot to dump my drawings/ 2D Arts. They are usually fan arts and not good, because I'm not a good painter. However, I still love drawing, and I do see them as practice and hobby. Comments and critique are welcomed, and appreciated!
It is possible to create an action that copies and flips half of the canvas but it will have many limitations such as drawing on one layer only and manual update (this means you should draw a line or two, then press a button assigned to that action in order to update.)
- Post more on Polycount and get to know people. - Make time to watch more documentaries and read. - Have a stall at a local art convention - Do life drawing regularly - Learn how to paint! Without a line drawing specifically.
http://docs.pixologic.com/reference-guide/draw/ This post was the first result on google for a similar question I had. This is an old post I understand, but I hate it when people find an answer and don't share. Look at Dynamic draw.
good point. my 5 year old draws the most amusing, spike covered gaping mawed monsters now. He absolutely loves the stuff - always fun to draw with him. His imagination is a beast of a machine already.
@Lotet thanks! I struggled through those two... Didn't really enjoy those, honestly haha Animation desk ideas Mech discussion made me want to draw a mech.. then I got tired of drawing the mech.
Pretty much any book on art drawing and design could be useful and directly translated into 3d Check this 2 for something more specific : The Practice and Science of Drawing by Harold Speed Dynamic symmetry by Jay Hambidge
Well one of my goals right now is actually form and perspective and im not to sure how i would approach it other than drawing characters in perspective and figure drawing in general. Thanks for the welcome :D
