Hm, I'm still not sure what you mean by having to drop it to use the dual planar handles. You're always moving on the dual planar direction if you're not using the handles? And the plane you're moving on depends on your action center i.e. World,Local,Screen, etc
This makes me so sad.. I was really looking forward to playing this game, most developers in Brisbane (and Australia) work on licensed games.. I was excited to see such an original IP being developed locally. :( :( I hope this doesn't deter other developers from taking risks...
The Witness is a clinic on good visual design, but they took the added step of hiring an architect, so despite being on a small island all the locales feel very distinct and grounded. It's worth a look. Also, here's some great sources for inspiration: neogaf screenshot thread http://deadendthrills.com
Well, been rocking out in Melbourne since Tuesday morn, and loving it, though I gotta reacclimatise to the cold weather after 2.5 years in the tropics. :p Sent caseyjones a pm with my local cell number, but drop word here as well if you're game for a meetup.
Rhinokey your moving to Austin too! awesome! There's a Austin Dev Beer night next month, (Thursday, February 3 · 7:00pm - 10:00pm) if you guys are interested in drinking with local devs :) Hit me up on FB so I can invite ya!
Very true oXYnary, but I have Polycount and ConceptArt to thank for getting the local sketch group started here in Dallas. So the one helps the other. It's useful to approach a group knowing people by their reputation and their work; having an online presence makes for better recognition sometimes. /jzero
co worker tipped me off about this one, local high school paints the graduate class year on the bleachers every year.. so as you can see the sat photos are from 2002.. or maybe 1902 tho i'm not sure how god their satalite imagry was then.
Small .22 caliber, have only gone target praticing once in last 5 years. Big guns hurt my ears, but sure can stop a few Thugs or two. Concurs with Sal - lessons are a good thing. Often local Police will help you with that if asked.
that animation mentor school looks pretty slick. really great animations in thier student showcase vid. pretty expensive for a year and a half program though. Think i might look into this. Take some life drawing and basic art classes locally and take this corse on the side.
Hey, I've just landed in Welly (looking for a place to live!) and this is probably a long shot, but I hardly know anyone in NZ so just a general inquiry to see if there are any locals on here that wanted to catch up for a beer/coffee this week while I'm staying in the CBD. Chur! Patrick
