[ QUOTE ] Anyone remember the Bloody Mess perk in fallout 1 & 2? It basically made all the deaths way more gruesome. Pistol kill = exploded torso. [/ QUOTE ] Bloody mess soo owns, it even works melee, yay for kicking people in half
For a sandbox game its pretty unique, less guns, more melee, some "parkour" movement. The port feels like it was ported to pc with control issues, I don't know if it got fixed or not. If you love sandbox games, its probably worth looking into picking it up.
http://www.destructoid.com/impressions-your-first-look-at-dead-island-194120.phtml So in summary a 4 player co-op open world zombie RPG on a tropical island, with a focus on visceral first person melee combat/survival. Also side quests and skill trees.
Yeah Morris, I'd get the HP fixed and sharpened up, it still feels too lumpy from before. Looks more like melted rubber than armor. I do not think using a skin mat cap will help you, just use the gray one.
im not sure whats going on with the forearms or the melting thighs. your proportion needs work but youre off to a good start. keep at it! as for the color i cant help you there cuz i just started painting myself. it would be nice to see the character without the mask too.
Max/Maya and Photoshop = bare minimum Solid knowledge of how to make props and architecture pieces, how to make convincing textures, how to make assets that won't melt an Xbox. And if you want to be fancy, learn things that will make the tech artists like you :P
I for one would aim for the head :) Looks real nice! I do think the spec on the wood is a bit to strong, and the handle isnt it supposed to be tape or something like that? It looks like melted rubber I think, other than that damn nice work :D
Ah...I see. I hadn't seen HD packs before. I expect they run pretty slow. Might give one a try and see what its like. I know for a fact my laptop will melt but my rig my be up to the challenge.
whoah there, is there any way you could tidy up the clothing folds, make them flow better, crisper edges, right now its got that melted plastic look. You seem to be rushing this, and you're new to Zbrush? Take your time. lol @ mullet.
If it's a Krogan from Mass Effect it needs a bigger head. Needs hard edges on the armour and more importantly needs to be embedded on the forum, another click is going to put people off. Avoid rendering on black unless you're rim lit it as well, the shadows meld into the background.
