Yeah I'm gonna agree with some past remarks and he is starting to look like he is a sculpt rather than a living creature. Maybe just tone down the surface detail / texture a bit and make it more subtle.
Sure you don't mean Kevin Lanning? It's a copy and paste of part of his section in the Character Modeling 2 D'Artiste book. Very good stuff. I like how they say on the last page that the Wretch is a "fowl" creature
Cool creature concept, only thing i would say is that he seems pretty stiff. I would try a more interesting pose or maybe a full turnaround with 3/4 view? Im looking forward to the model.
hey ! Here is some of my work did on the game: Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem I was responsible of all 3d aspect of those creatures More will come soon you can also see some turntable on my artstation
it just says access denied on those links :( , think I used to have a password but dont know what it is now :P edit: ok got a password, nice video jam, the ones on creature workflow are cool as well
@CrazyYuan Thanks for the comment :) Day 30! Dragon eye (3hrs) Decided to have some fun and experiment with highpoly sculpting and polypainting. I've never really done creatures before but this was a lot of fun. Gonna have to expand on this in the future.
I love how stylized many of your drawings are, especially with the invented creatures, its really amazing. Its also great to see SO MUCH work from a long period of time all packed together as one.
Yeah I like this challenge, environment artists can team up, or make a robot or some sort of non-human driver pretty easily, although it favors character and creature artists a bit, that doesn't define the contest or limits.
Very nice Skecthbook! I especially like the landscapes. The colors in the first image(s) you postetd are great! Do you work from photos or do you make those up? The pink creature is awsome as well ;-)
another 3d work i'm working on after i saw this cute bastard creature which i decided to make my cute bastard mage XD the main inspiration : my 3D work : body : the head : enjoy !
